FAQs
Preliminaries
SEG extrusion is an aluminum framing system designed to hold fabric graphics with a thin silicone edge sewn around the perimeter. The fabric is pressed into a channel in the frame, creating a smooth, frameless appearance.
Yes, one of the biggest advantages is the ability to quickly swap out graphics without replacing the frame.
They’re widely used for trade show displays, retail environments, interior signage, wall murals, and backlit lightboxes.
SEG offers a sleek, modern, edge-to-edge look with no visible hardware, making it ideal for high-end visual environments.

What frame lengths are available for pickup orders?
For customer pickup orders, extrusion lengths are supplied in full 120" (10-foot) lengths whenever possible.
Why are shipped extrusions shorter than pickup extrusions?
Most parcel carriers impose length restrictions and additional oversize fees on packages exceeding certain dimensions. To help keep shipping costs reasonable and avoid freight-only shipments, extrusions selected for shipping are typically trimmed to 95" lengths.
Can I receive full 120" extrusions if my order is being shipped?
Yes, but full-length extrusions generally require freight transportation and may incur significantly higher shipping charges. Please contact our team for a custom freight quote.
Will trimming the extrusion affect the performance of the frame?
No. The extrusion profile remains unchanged. Longer frame dimensions can typically be achieved by using connectors or joining multiple sections during assembly, depending on the frame design.
How will I know if my order will be shipped at 95" lengths?
Orders selected for standard shipping will be processed using 95" extrusion lengths unless alternative arrangements are requested and approved prior to production.
Can I request a specific extrusion length?
Absolutely. If your project requires a specific length, please contact our customer service team before placing your order so we can review available shipping and freight options.
SEG systems are designed for easy installation—graphics are simply pressed into the frame channel by hand or with a tool.
Printing
